2024 Trail of Lights

Come join us for our 2024 Trail of Lights!

The trail runs from November 30 through December 26th and is a walking trail through approximately 8 acres of lighted exhibits.

The EmilyAnn's Trail of Lights is free to attend; however, donations are graciously accepted as this is the EmilyAnn's largest fundraiser. There are several donation stations at the entrance and throughout the grounds.

Most nights feature live entertainment on the stage next to our yule log where guests can enjoy complimentary marshmallows and hot chocolate. Santa Claus flies in most nights from the North Pole and will be in his house to greet everyone! There will also be several special event nights throughout the run of the trail.

Guests can also support the EmilyAnn by purchasing an array of fun light-up toys and yummy concessions. All proceeds from donation stations, concessions, stores, and special events benefit the EmilyAnn.

Setting up a Light Display, Sponsoring the Trail, or being an Entertainer for the 2024 Trail of Lights

If you are interested in putting up a light display, sponsoring the Trail, or being an entertainer, please send an email to rebecca@emilyann.org.

There is no fee for putting up a display and it is a great way to promote your business, feature your organization, or just enjoy putting up a display with your family. You do not have to be present at your display during the Trail of Lights. You just set it up and then let people enjoy it throughout the holidays!

Important Information
Pets, Alcohol, Firearms
Alcohol, pets, and firearms are NOT allowed on the EmilyAnn grounds. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Service animals are permitted.
Parking
As there is very limited parking in the EmilyAnn lot, almost all parking for Trail of Lights will be next door at Wimberley High School and Danforth Middle School. If you have a government issue handicap permit or need to drop off closer to the entrance at EmilyAnn, you may pull into the EmilyAnn and proceed down the lighted driveway. Close to the entrance there will be a volunteer to help direct you to the handicap parking or allow you to drop off passengers. After dropping off, you will need to proceed to the designated parking at the high school and middle school. There is a lighted, concrete walkway from the high school to the EmilyAnn grounds.
Weather
Any changes at Trail of Lights due to weather will be posted here on this web site. In general the trail will remain open with the lights on when it is raining unless the conditions become dangerous or there is a forecast for heavy rain. Some services may be limited in the event of light rain (e.g. concessions, Santa, princesses, entertainment). The train is not able to run in any type of rain.
Concessions
Come have dinner at the Trail! Our concession stand offers many options including: hot dogs (plain, chili/cheese), frito pie, bottled water, smores, marshmallows, hot cocoa, and more!
Entrance Store
Light your way through the Trail of Lights!! Our entrance store offers a great selection of light-up accessories and toys for all ages to help you look as festive as the exhibits! Prices range from $3-$20.
Payment Types Accepted
Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated! We accept cash, check and credit card donations. If you would like to use a credit card to make a donation, please come to the front store tent. Cash is accepted at all locations/activities (train, concessions and store). Credit cards are accepted at concessions and the store. If you need to purchase train tickets with a credit card, please come to the front store tent.
