Life-size Chess & Checker Board

The Wimberley Rotary Club constructed & donated the chess/checker board in honor of Rotary's 100th year anniversary. Come out and enjoy a match with friends and family! Chess and checker pieces are provided.

Musical Garden

The Wimberley Rotary Club constructed & donated the musical garden board in honor of Rotary's 100th year anniversary. Come and make some music! Mallets are normally available but feel free to bring your own.

Viewscope & Observation Deck

The observation deck features a viewscope that allows the viewing of the entire Wimberley Valley. It was built by Fox Hendrix for his Eagle Scout Project.

Betrothal Tree

Bring your sweetie to become engaged or celebrate your love at this 200-year-old tree. The poem by the Betrothal Tree was composed by Dr. Dorey Schmidt.

Gaga Pit

Girl Scout Troop #1429 constructed & donated the Gaga Pit. It was their Bronze Award project. Come and play! There are normally balls available but feel free to bring your own as well.

Nadine's Nook

The Wimberley Rotary Club & Wimberley Village Library constructed & donated Nadine's Nook. Children are welcome to select a book each time they visit.

The Book Post

Madison Haston of Girl Scout Troop #1376 constructed & donated The Book Post. It was her Silver Award project. We hope that you will come and select a book and leave one in its place.

Sensory Garden

Hill Country Unit of the Herb Society of America planted and maintains the Sensory Garden. Come out and enjoy a day among the plants!

Fairy Garden

The Fairy Garden is a place for imaginations to grow! It was put together by Girl Scout Troop #1429. Bring a little natural treasure to leave for the fairies!

Frisbee Golf

The Ann Pessoney Frisbee Golf course was made possible by the Pessoney and Rolling families. Bring your own frisbees and enjoy the 4-bucket course under the trees.

Cobb's Corral & Roping Arena

The Cobb Family constructed & donated Cobb's Corral. Bring your kids out to practice roping or just pretend to be a cowboy or cowgirl!

Maze

Wimberley High School students built Justin's Maze under the direction of Denise Jackson. Come lose yourself in the maze!

Justin's Castle

Stretch your imagination and engage in creative play in this castle built as an Eagle Scout project by John Estepp in memory of Justin Rodriguez.

Bridge & Row Boat at Justin's Castle

Row, Row, Row Your Boat... Come out and enjoy this new feature at Justin's Castle along with the new draw bridge. They were constructed by Girl Scout Troop #1429 for their Silver Award.

Washer Throw

The Washer Throw game was built by Marcos Phillips for his Eagle Scout Project. Washers are provided so come enjoy this popular game!

Princess Carriage

Come be a princess for the day! The Cinderella Carriage is a fun place for children to use their imagination and live their own fairytale.

Corn Hole Game

The Corn Hole games were added by the EmilyAnn. There are 2 game sets, one in the Scout Garden and one in the Meadow. Bean bags are provided.

Earth Kitchen

Mackenzie Haston of Girl Scout Troop #1429 constructed & donated the Earth Kitchen. It was her Silver Award project. We hope that you will come and cook up something yummy with your imagination!

Ping Pong

The EmilyAnn added a ping pong table recently. Come enjoy a match under the trees. Paddles and balls are available; however, you might want to be a back-up ball or two if possible.

Photo Opportunities

The EmilyAnn is awash with photo oppotunities! There are unlimited benches, decks, stages and natural structures at which you can get that perfect photo!

Greenhouse & Pollinator's Garden

LCRA helped to fund the Greenhouse which now houses plants and butterflies depending on the season. Art Crowe constructed & donated the Pollinator's Garden. It attracts many natural pollinators depending on the season.

Train Depot Benches

Girl Scout Troop #1376 constructed & donated the Train Depot Benches. It was their Bronze Award project.

Gazebo

Girl Scout Troop 396 constructed & donated the Gazebo at the top of the hill. It is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the serenity of the Veterans Memorial and Children's Memorial.

Hill Elevation Chart

Boy Scout Troop #127 designed and installed the Hill Elevation Chart. It illustrates the elevation and names of the different hills in the area around the EmilyAnn.
